Hi,

Just finished Speaking of Health today and I want to make sure you get the things we spoke of during the show.

LAUNDRY SOAP This recipe for a great laundry soap is really simple. Just remember 12 8 & 4 : 12 parts Baking Soda  8 parts Borax  and 4 parts soap (I like using Fells Naphtha bars ground up to a fine powder in my blender). Just mix them all together well with maybe some essential oil for fragrance and there you have it - a lot of good cleaning laundry soap. USE ONLY ABOUT 1/4 TO 1/2 CUP PER LOAD. This soap produces low suds and can be used in any type washer.

DOC'S GINGER TEA: Fresh Ginger - about 1 little finger joint's worth :)  Add the ginger - not your finger - to 8-12 ounces water. BOIL for 3-5 minutes and then steep for another 10 minutes. Sweeten to taste (Stevia or honey). You might find this stimulates fever, which would be good. That means your not as healthy as you might be and your body needs to fight off something.

J-R COCKTAIL: Helps balance your body's pH: 1/2 tsp each of Cream of Tartar & Baking Soda. Mix in 4-6 ounces of hat water and drink. Use it 2 - 3 times per day as needed.

CURRIED ONIONS WITH APPLES: Thinly sliced onions cooked in a little butter Ghee until transparent. Add Curry and Turmeric to taste towards the end to season (and season well). ADD sliced apples. Cook until they are warmed through. Scarf it all down with your ginger tea.
